Dr. Karina M. Urraca has over 20 years experience treating different conditions in the physical therapy field, which include orthopedics, neurological, geriatrics, acute care, pediatrics, and cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy. She graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant first from Miami Dade College, after that she obtained her Bachelors in Psychology at Florida International University, and then went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida International University as well. Karina has an interest in treating all types of conditions, however she has a special interest in pediatrics and neurology, specialties that she has been practicing for the past 10 years because she noticed that there was a great demand and need for physical therapists to work in those fields, but a limited number of therapists interested in them. With a treatment philosophy that focused on rehabilitation through providing care with kindness and respect, exercise, and manual therapy, Dr. Urraca is dedicated to helping her patients and those in need to achieve their greatest potential and be as independent as they can be, so they could live a better, longer, and more fulfilling life.    .

Angie Cook is a physical therapist assistant. She has been working at SLB Therapy  since 2011. She graduated from Miami Dade College in 2007 as a Physical Therapist Assistant and continued her studies at Florida International University were she obtained her Bachelor’s in science in Sports and Fitness studies in 2012. At SLB, she treats patients with a variety of diagnoses. Angie is certified in kinetic taping, athletic training, orthopedic rehabilitation, health coach, strength and conditioning. 

Amilet Rodriguez has been a licensed physical therapy assistant for over 12 years with an array of experience in different settings with her focus being in pediatrics. Amilet received her Associate in Science in Physical Therapy Assistant from Miami Dade College in 2010. In 2012, she furthered her education by receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with emphasis in sports and fitness and a minor in psychology from Florida International University. Amilet is skilled in kinesiology taping, early intervention, and play therapy. Amilet is a therapist that believes in treating the whole body without losing focus of the diagnosis. She is committed to help her patients to reach their goals while providing families with the proper guidance and education to understand their children’s individual needs and development.
