Owner and President
Urania Caldera M.S., CCC-SLP
​Urania is a bilingual dual credentialed speech-language pathologist and behavior analyst. Urania has over 19 years of experience in the field of speech pathology. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Psychology and in 2004 she graduated with a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. In 2014 she pursued a career in Applied Behavior Analysis and became a certified behavior analyst. Urania opened S.L.B Therapy in 2006 with the vision of one day becoming interdisciplinary. In 2008 S.L.B Therapy added occupational and physical therapy services. Soon after, Urania led S.L.B Therapy into adding applied behavior analysis services. Urania believes that children excel to their maximum potential by implementing behavior strategies alongside speech, OT, and PT interventions. Urania is trained in PROMPT, PECs, Oral motor, use in AAC, and early intervention. Urania’s passion is providing services to children with severe maladaptive behaviors.

Geraldine Arostegui M.S., CCC-SLP
Geraldine began her career at SLB Therapy in 2007 as a verbal behavior instructor and has grown within the company. She graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Miami in 2009. She worked as a speech language pathologist assistant while she obtained her Masters of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida in 2012. She is a bilingual, state licensed, and board certified speech language pathologist trained in Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, sensory approach to feeding, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, oral placement therapy, PECs, PROMPT, and VitalStim. Her passions include early intervention, AAC, and working in a multidisciplinary team. Geraldine is a clinical supervisor to SLP-As and students.
Speech Language Pathologist
Lizbeth Cintron M.S., CCC-SLP
Lizbeth Cintron, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a bilingual, state licensed and board certified speech-language pathologist who has been practicing in the South-Dade for over ten years. Lizbeth graduated from Florida International University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and went onto to receive her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2011. Types of treatment methods utilized during therapy sessions include: PECS, Beckman Oral Motor, SOS Approach to Feeding, PROMPT, Sensory Integration and DTTC. Lizbeth is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about her work in the area of Early Intervention. She is inspired daily by her work with patients and families to help children achieve results.
Speech Language Pathologist
Alison Perez M.A., CCC-SLP
Alison is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and began working at SLB Therapy in 2018. She graduated from University of Central Florida twice earning her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2015 and her Masters degree for Speech Language Pathology in 2018. Before pursuing her Masters degree, Alison worked as an SLP-A gaining knowledge by working with an interdisciplinary team. She is happy to be gaining experience now as a supervisor at SLB Therapy Inc. Alison enjoys working with children to improve their functional receptive and expressive language abilities, Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) skills, and reading/writing skills.
Speech Language Pathologist
Lissette Plummer M.S., CCC-SLP
Lissette Plummer is a bilingual speech-language pathologist. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Health Sciences, and in 2010 she graduated with her Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. After gaining experience in a variety of therapy settings, Lissette started her career at SLB Therapy in 2017. She provides therapy in the areas of receptive language, expressive language, pragmatic language and articulation skills. Lissette is trained in Professional Crisis Management.
Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Kira Graber-Ponton B.A., SLP-A
Kira graduated from the University of Miami in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Special Education. She began working at SLB Therapy as a SLP-A in 2017. Kira is working on her Master’s of Science degree in Speech and Language Pathology at NOVA Southeastern University and will graduate in the summer of 2023. Kira enjoys working with children to improve their communication abilities.

Tanya Nunez B.A., SLP-A
Tanya is a bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant that graduated from Florida International University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then received her Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license in 2020. She began working at SLB Therapy in 2021. Tanya enjoys working with children and young adults to improve their communication abilities.

Nethania Oxces B.S., SLP-A
Nethania is an SLP-A who graduated from the University of Central Florida with her B.S in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May 2021. Nethania joined the SLB family in 2022. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Emerson College.
Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Esther Fernandez B.S., SLP-A
Esther Fernandez is a bilingual SLP-A. She graduated from FIU with a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. She has been working as an SLP-A in Florida for over 14 years. She is devoted to helping individuals improve their communication skills.
Beyond her professional achievements, Esther's passion shines through in her continuous pursuit of knowledge ensuring she remains at the forefront of her field.
